Should I offer refunds?

Remember, pop-up cinema is weather reliant.

I mean they are mostly outdoor. Threats of severe weather can force outdoor cinemas and drive-ins to cancel or postpone, leaving you to ask yourself, “Should I offer refunds?” You cannot control the weather, so we suggest that in the case that wind, rain, snow or other extreme weather prevent you from hosting a successful pop-up cinema you postpone your event. You know, the old “rain check” policy. Selling tickets online allows you to inform your ticket holders via email or text with the new weather date for that movie. If anyone cannot make that new date, they should be allowed to transfer their ticket to another show within the time period you decide or they can transfer their ticket to someone else. So we suggest tickets are transferable​, not non-refundable but transferable. This information must be clearly written in the t’s and c’s when purchasing a ticket.
